Sooke Harbour Fishing Derby

The Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina is proud to host our first Chum Salmon Derby starting October 31st for 9 days. Chum Salmon will be the highest prized catch although hidden weight prizes will be awarded for Coho, Springs and Halibut. Anyone is welcome to participate for a fee of $25 adults and $15 for juniors 15 years old and under. Weights will be taken at the Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina on the FishTactics DST scale. Prizes will include: 5 nights at the Sooke Harbour Resort, 5 nights in Marble Canyon, Bradley Smoker, fishing gear, whale watching for 4, cash prize, a 5 hour charter. We will have guest chefs cooking on the weekends for donations to the Pacific Salmon Foundation.
